Getting involved with your local housing organisation can be a lot of work. But it has many advantages:
- It is a very rewarding work: you help sustain and improve your local community and your estate.
- You can receive FREE TRAINING in many relevant areas: IT, finance, law, health and safety and much more.
- You get to know your neighbours on the estate and a wider community of people at other TMOs in Southwark and (through National TMO conferences) across the country.
- You get to know the housing system better so if a problem arises, you know what to do and who to speak to.
